It is the story of a jackal named Aketnu who finds himself caught up in the Kingdom's struggle to incarnate their god Ra through the Pharaoh, into a mystical phoenix called the Bennu, before their enemies the Hyksos can do the same with their own deity, the evil serpent Apep. Throughout the ordeal, Aketnu meets valiant warriors, compassionate priestesses, royal nobility, and comes face to face with Apep, the enemy of life, who has chosen as his vessel none other than Aketnu's own best friend!

- Thu, 20:07: Perfect 300 on the APFT! Didn't get under 13 minutes on the run like I wanted, but still ran it in 13:16, so I can't complain too much.
- Thu, 09:52: APFT tomorrow...wish me luck; I am aiming for a 300 and an under-13-minute 2-mile run.
- Sun, 07:05: Last night the sniffling b-hut neighbor blared mariachi music without headphones during quiet hours when I was trying to sleep. Classy.
- Sat, 11:34: The dude across from me in my B-hut is hawking up loogies and coughing and snorting. Gross. Resisting urge to throw things over the wall...
- Thu, 04:18: Shot 36 out of 40 on the rifle qualification range!
- Tue, 11:32: As a soldier, I don't seek pity for I am not "victimized". I only want understanding of what I do and why I personally believe in my cause.
- Sun, 12:46: When I redeploy I want to celebrate with a dinosaur movie sleepover. Unsure if this will result in yanking of my 4 day pass.
- Mon, 01:57: My film "Eye of the Bennu" will be playing at Califur on Sunday, June 3rd at the Irvine Mariott. Stay tuned for times.
